Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and AAIN LLC ("Doyenne", "we") for the use of getdoyenne.com and the Doyenne service. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Doyenne.

Who may use Doyenne

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. Doyenne is for parents and other adults managing a household. Children do not create accounts; they appear only as names you enter. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself.

What Doyenne does, and what it does not

Doyenne gathers calendars you connect, flags overlapping events and rides without a driver, and can show your schedule in your phone's calendar. It is an organizing tool, not a supervision service.

Doyenne is not a safety system. Reminders may be delayed or fail to arrive, calendars may sync late, and other services may change or go down. Do not rely on Doyenne alone to make sure a child is collected, supervised or transported. Confirm arrangements with the people involved.

Your content

Your events, children's names and other entries remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to enter the information you add, including information about other people you invite or name as drivers.

Connected services

When you connect Google, Outlook or another calendar, you authorize Doyenne to read and, where you ask, to create or change events in that account. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or their decisions. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Doyenne to break the law, or to harass, track or monitor anyone without their knowledge.
• Do not upload other people's information without a good reason to have it.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not resell Doyenne or share one account across unrelated households.

Plans and payment

• Essential is free. Signature and Household are billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings; your plan continues to the end of the paid period.
• We do not give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it. If something goes wrong on our side, write to us and we will make it right.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies at your next renewal.
• Plan limits, such as the number of connected calendars or family members, are described on the pricing page and may change as the product develops.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Doyenne running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Doyenne and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we must do so by law. On closure, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Warranties and liability

Doyenne is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed events, missed pickups or lost opportunities. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you and update the date above at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Doyenne after that means you accept the new terms.
